Yankauer Suction Tube

Used primarily for surface suction and some intra-abdominal suction.

Yankauer Suction Tube comes with a tip that can be removed to allow access to tighter spaces. If these tips get lost, however, they can be purchased separately to be used only for the Yankauer suction tube. This device is also long in length and can range from 10-1/4" to 18" depending on the operation. The handle of this device contains an end that can be connected to a suction source in order to provide the suction power needed to remove fluids or debris away from the surgical site.

Poole Suction Tube

Used to remove large amounts of fluid from the surgical field, as well as intra-abdominal suction.

Poole Suction Tube is an instrument used to remove large quantities of fluid from surgical sites during procedures. It is often used during abdominal procedures.

The Poole suction tube has multiple holes so as to best prevent blockages caused by fat or tissue suctioned during a procedure.

It is available in a variety of sizes, identified by the French gauge system, which measures the external diameter.

Used primarily in ENT and neurosurgery. Usually angled.
